In the Gallo region, this small town between Rennes and Laval is famous for its Château du Plessis (privately owned), which opens onto an 18-hectare park (you can visit it during Heritage Days). The château has the distinction of having belonged to the same family for a thousand years! Built in the 10th century, the estate was owned by the du Plessis d'Argentré family until 1993! In the Argentré area, take a stroll around the many ponds that border the commune, including the 12.5-hectare Etang du Moulin aux Moines and the Etang du Moulin-Neuf.
