The site of the current village of Wahlbach - the name of the stream that crosses it - knows the occupation of men since Neolithic, according to reliable archaeological elements. The name of Wahlbach was quoted in 1265 in a chartique document preserved in Basel. It seems that a Gallo-Roman population has lived there for a long time. Until the Revolution, the city depended on the county of Ferrette. From the second half of the 1975 th century, Wahlbach suffered a sharp decline in its population - the Wahlbachois were only one hundred eighty-nine in.Fortunately, this trend has been reversed since then, probably thanks to the quality of life that can be enjoyed here and which has attracted many urban residents in a natural well-being.
