Located 17 kilometers from Quintin, the small village of Saint-Gilles-Pligeaux has a population of 300. The first traces of the village date back to the 12th century. Between menhirs, tumuli and religious heritage, most of which are listed as historical monuments, there are many discoveries in Saint-Gilles-Pligeaux. See in particular the parish church of Saint-Gilles, built in the XIVth century, which formerly depended on the bishopric of Quimper, the Saint-Laurent chapel and the Notre-Dame-de-la-Clarté chapel.
