Varela and its dream beach are well worth the effort. Located 175 km from the capital, it's a long way to get there and the roads are not always accessible, especially in the rainy season. From São Domingos, you have to take a fifty-kilometre track that leads to the small seaside resort. Adventurers can also get there from Cap Skirring, by motorcycle across the road, by pirogue and then by track to reach São Domingos. Once there, you'll be overwhelmed by the beauty of its coconut-fringed beaches, just like those at Cap Skirring. A little paradise where you can relax for a few days.
