Located at the entrance to the Côte Chalonnaise village of Montagny-lès-Buxy, Domaine du Château de la Saule has been a family affair since the 19th century, and is now owned by Alain Roy. A winemaker who works an 18.5-hectare estate to produce only Montagny1er cru appellation wines in three cuvées. The Château de la Saule vineyards are meticulously tended, and the use of chemical treatments is strictly limited. Alain Roy loves his vines, and is happy to show visitors around and lead tastings.
