Wines and spirits Montagny-Lès-Buxy

Françoise Feuillat-Juillot proves, along with other local women winemakers, that wine is not just a man's business. She heads up a 14-hectare estate that produces excellent appellations, mostly white wine: mainly Montagny^1er cru, including a 2018 Les Coères cuvée awarded a gold medal by the Vignerons Indépendants, and a little red Burgundy. A wine tourism-oriented estate, Feuillat-Juillot welcomes groups and organizes vineyard tours, meals on the estate and guided tastings.

Located at the entrance to the village of Montagny-lès-Buxy, on the Côte Chalonnaise, the Domaine du Château de la Saule has been a family affair since the 19th century and Alain Roy is the owner. A winegrower who works an 18.5 hectare estate to produce only Montagny^1er Cru appellation wines through three cuvées. The vineyards of Château de la Saule are worked with care, and the use of treatment products is strongly limited.
