The tiny village of Morisca is officially called Santa María de Mourisca in Galician. The first parish in the village dates back to the twelfth century, according to documents dating from 1156. The parish, mentioned under the patronage of Santa María, gave part of its name to the small village, which today has a population of about 60 souls. As rural as it is picturesque, the landscape is soothing, far from urban tribulations: you can stay in old farmhouses converted into guesthouses. Come and treat yourself to a relaxing stay and enjoy the flavors of the land in the heart of Galicia. Do not miss the visit to the church.
