Arta Terme is, as its name suggests, a spa located in the valley at an altitude of 442 meters. Its modern spa facilities exploit the benefits of a spring that was already known in Roman times (Terme di Arta, Via Nazionale 1, www.termediarta.it). A destination for relaxation and wellness, Arta Terme also offers many possibilities for excursions in the mountains, to the refuges and the malghe (alpine chalets where cheese is produced) or in the gorge of the Chiarsò torrent, following a path dug into the rock (be careful: difficult path!).Tourist office, Via Nazionale 1 (+39 0433 929290).
