Located halfway between the cities of Saguenay and Alma, along Route 172, this small municipality is mainly agricultural. You can make a few agrotourism visits, notably to the Ferme Les Alpagas Là! Là! or the Fermette Accapella, which specializes in northern berries (cherry, sea buckthorn, etc.). Foodies won't miss Baron BBQ and its typical Southern American cuisine, while active people will go for a walk along the Gagnon Falls hiking trail. If you're visiting in August, don't miss the Festival de la chanson de Saint-Ambroise, which features French-language songs
