Overlooking the Saguenay Fjord, L'Anse-Saint-Jean is a member of the Association des plus beaux villages du Québec. You'll find the soul of the historic houses and the large covered bridge, known as the Couv'Art bridge, with works of art inside. Crafts enthusiasts will be delighted: Le Coquill'Art distributes the products of over 30 Quebec artisans, and the Rebelles des Bois workshop-boutique designs unique wooden jewelry as well as clothing, bags and more. The area is also home to Mont-Édouard, a 40-slope ski resort offering cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and hiking.
