Llinars del Vallès is a very discreet village in the valley of the river Mogent, located in the hollow of the pre-littoral depression. To the north, the Montseny Natural Park; to the south, the Montnegre-Corredor Park. When autumn comes, its forests are a haven for mushroom pickers. Start by climbing up to the site of the "Torrassa del Moro" (follow the red signs), built in Roman times: the view is magical; a chiringuito has even been installed up there! Just a short distance away, you can see the ruins of the Castell del Far, which was abandoned in favour of the Castell Nou, built at the instigation of Baron de Llinars. On the outskirts of the village, an astonishing auditorium, designed by the Portuguese architect Álvaro Siza, attracts attention.
