Located inland from Bergamo, San Pellegrino Terme is famous for its water. In fact, an international call for projects led to the selection of the architectural firm that drew up the plans for the new San Pellegrino plant. The foundation stone was laid on September 27, 2019 (not yet open until the end of 2023), and the building is set to house a water museum. This town of 5,000 inhabitants has many assets worth visiting, starting with its thermal baths. But it's also a starting point for numerous hikes a little further away from the lakes, in the heart of the mountains.
