This charming town, with its colonial heritage and centuries-old vineyards, still retains its character and traditions of yesteryear. Its geographical location between the Andes and the Pacific reveals a unique microclimate in Chile: the wine estates enjoy the fertile land and it is no coincidence that the surrounding area is teeming with wine tourism activities. It has a railway station that belonged to the line between San Fernando and Pichilemu, between 1872 and 1926, whose stations in Colchagua, Placilla and Pichilemu have also been declared national monuments. Local handicrafts can also be found in the Casa de la Calabaza.
