This national park offers beautiful hikes in the middle of magnificent landscapes that are still little known. Feel free to write this visit on your agenda. Covering an area of 4,138 hectares, the park offers a highly wooded Andean mountain range landscape, with many species of trees such as hazelnut (or coudrier), cypress and oak, which in autumn compose a plume of wonderful colours with the white of the peaks (especially in May) in the background. It is a privileged natural place, sheltering both Mediterranean vegetation and the humid forest of the south. The park also provides an opportunity to learn about the remains of former nomadic hunter-gatherer tribes (such as the stones used to grind food). At 3 km from the entrance, you can see waterfalls, over 50 m high, called Velo de la Novia (bride's sail). Then, at the end of a small marked path, appear, in the middle of a dense vegetation, the Siete Tazas, seven waterfalls (in fact there are more or less, depending on how you count) of the Claro de Molina river which, over time, has dug "seven" small wells in the basalt rock. Kayak enthusiasts will of course find here a tailor-made circuit, internationally recognised. But beware, the waters will not be suitable for beginners!
