Hidden between the archipelago of Bocas and Five Islands, these two islets named Cronstadt and Carrera stand out from the others because they are not visited. Carrera has been a prison island, like Alcatraz, since the 19th century and despite the government's stated intention to close it since 2013, it still functions and even has the reputation of being less unpleasant than the others. The buildings are dilapidated but the 300 convicts (most of them with long sentences) benefit from a range of activities for their rehabilitation. As for Kronstadt, it is a rock without much tourist interest and cannot be visited either.
