At the end of the long, straight road lined with small houses through the village, you come to a beach where, at the end of a jetty, stands a temple facing the sea. At the bend before the village's main straight street, a path leads to an astonishing testimony to the great Indian piety that reigns in the region. This is where you come to a gigantic ashram inaugurated in February 2002, built in homage to the god Hanuman and to Sri Swamiji, the Indian guru who presided over the project. For the visitor, the most unusual feature is certainly the gigantic statue next to the temple, representing Hanuman, king of the monkeys.
