Nuenen is located north-east of Eindhoven. Its particularity? To have had a very famous inhabitant, Vincent Van Gogh, who lived there between 1883 and 1885 and composed a quarter of his work. This village, whether under the summer sun or under the dark colors of autumn and winter, is therefore an essential piece of the "puzzle" of Van Gogh's life. Walking around the village, we find elements represented in his work. We advise you to spend a few hours here; you can for example have lunch at the Opwettense watermolen and then continue with a visit to "Vincentre" and a walk through the village.
