The capital of Haut Aran, this village of 600 inhabitants is nestled on the right bank of the Garonne. In addition to the typical architecture of its houses, Salardú has a beautiful Romanesque church dedicated to Sant Andreu. In the heights of the village, 1.5 km upstream, stop at Unha to admire the Casa Ço de Brastet, a superb mansion dating back to 1580, as well as the small Romanesque church of Santa Eulària, from the 12th century.
