Calkiní, which is located not far from Bécal, a quarter of an hour's drive away (10 kilometres), will be an additional stop for craft lovers. Like its neighbour, it is considered to be the cradle of craft families, with woodworking, basketry and various weaving methods depending on the object (hat, blouse, hammock...) as specificities. There is no shortage of curiosity shops where you can meet the creators and their know-how. Make a detour to the church of San Luis Obispo de Tolosa, whose baroque-style wooden altarpiece dates back more than four hundred years.
