Known as the town of bridges, Trilj was founded in prehistoric times at the most passable point on the Cetina River. Situated between the Adriatic coast and the Dalmatian inland, and well connected to the A1 freeway (Zagreb-Split), the town is at the crossroads of major tourist routes. A green oasis in the Zagora region, Trilj is a good stop-off point for country holidaymakers interested in cultural heritage and folk traditions. Don't miss the regional ethnographic museum. Active holidaymakers will find plenty to do, both on the land and on the river (water sports).
