In the center of the Lofoten archipelago is the small port of Gravdal, located on the island of Vestvågøya. This village, nestled on the shore of Buksnes fjord, has less than 1,600 inhabitants. Its small, very typical red houses blossom on this wild land, one looks in a postcard decor that corresponds perfectly to the image of Norway, between fjord and mountain. His wooden church, dragon style, dates back to 1905 and deserves a detour. Gravdal is on the road to various excursions and cruises. Its unique setting makes it ideal for bird watching. This is where the only hospital in Lofoten is located, as well as the Nordland Vocational School.
