In Kilan, turn right and head south for 7 km to Nusfjord. The small road leading to this tiny hamlet passes through awe-inspiring scenery. A few rorbuer huddle together around the horseshoe-shaped harbor, formed by a narrow inlet between high mountains. Large salmon farms in the fjord opposite. Don't miss a stay at the new Nusfjord Arctic Resort, a spa accommodation that is already part of De Historiske (prestigious hotels throughout Norway). Nusfjord was already populated in 425 BC! A very picturesque village to look after.
