This municipality is a jewel box of meadows, forests and rivers, made up of four valleys: Vall de Bianya, Vall del Bac, Vall de Carrera and Vall de Sant Ponç. Straddling the Volcanic Zone Natural Park, it boasts one of the most enchanting landscapes in La Garrotxa, as well as a rich Romanesque heritage. But one of the most remarkable attractions of this sub-region of theAlta Garrotxa is certainly the passage of the ancient via romana de Capsacosta, linking the Bianya valley to Sant Pau de Segúries, in the Ripollès. Last but not least, the valley boasts a number of sumptuous rural tourism masias, where luxury meets nature.
