Young Island is one of the smallest islands in the Grenadines. It is accessible by shuttle boat and is just a few fathoms from the shore of St. Vincent, separated from it by a channel some 180 m wide. It's the ideal place for a honeymoon, not least thanks to its luxurious hotel. In front of the hotel, mooring is by buoy only, as the small channel between Young Island and Saint-Vincent is subject to fairly strong currents. Behind Young Island, you can see the islet Duvernette, a tiny rock 80 m high on which the English had installed cannons. Don't miss a visit to Fort Duvernette.
