With an area of around 4 km2 and a population of around 300 , Mayreau is the smallest inhabited island in the Caribbean archipelago of the Grenadines. It lies between Union to the southwest and Canouan to the northeast. To the west lie the sandbanks and rocks of the Tobago Cays. It's a private island and a pleasant place to stay. The population is concentrated in the hilltop village of Old Wall, in the south-west of the island. Tip: plan a trip to Saline Bay, north and south. The road passes through a very pretty little village with a beautiful church. A magnificent viewpoint.
