Baan Srithanu is a pleasant little fishing village where you'll find local shops and entertainment. The charming beach of Chao Phao is calm and ideal for swimming, with a coral reef just 50 meters from the shore. The bay is home to several resorts , as well as quality restaurants and beach bars. Nearby is a small lake, Laem Son, offering a variety of water sports. The main market on the island's west coast is located in this village, at the main crossroads. The village also boasts a temple, the aptly named Wat Srithanu.
