This long beach lies to the north-west of Koh Phangan. It's a quiet, family-friendly spot. Next to it is the small island of Koh Ma, a famous and protected diving spot surrounded by a coral reef, where you can admire a rich aquatic fauna, including turtles and small sharks. A sandbank binds the beach at Koh Ma at low tide, and you can reach the island on foot and swim on the west side, where the water is deepest. The sunsets in this part of the island are absolutely magnificent. Access to the beach is via the Wong Sai Resort, which does not charge an entrance fee.
