About km from the centre of Sucre. At the entrance to this cement factory, you will easily notice a large vertical wall, layers of lacustrine sediments displaced over the millennia under the impulse of the tectonic constraints of the nearby cordillera. Traces are marked in the soil by more than three hundred species of large mammals of the tertiary age (dinosaurs), for a total of five thousand footprints! This wall is in constant erosion, traces disappear and news moves back each year. Neglected by the government for years, it recently became aware of the importance of this unique site and is talking about a project to siliconer the entire wall to protect it from bad weather.
