Travel Guide La Candelaria

The community of La Candelaria, 25 km from Tarabuco and a little further inland, is worth a visit for its association of Quechua weavers. The visit of the small museum (5 Bs per person) is interesting: you will discover the local traditional clothes (for everyday life or for the pujllay) as well as some rites (the pukara as an offering to the Pachamama). In addition, you can buy products made by the inhabitants, entirely handmade, of which 90% of the sale will go to the artisan and 10% to maintain the association and the museum. If you have a car, you can go to the side of the road that borders the Icla canyon.
