In the small village of Calzadilla de la Cueza (about 60 inhabitants), we will see the church of San Martín, which has an interesting Renaissance altarpiece from the 16th century. Remains of the old Roman road, called La Parva, are also visible. The village itself, which has little economic activity apart from tourism related to the pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela, is centered around the reception of pilgrims, and there are several areas where they can make a pleasant stop. There is also a restaurant with a shaded terrace and a hostel, but no other shops where you can get supplies.
