At an altitude of 400 m, this modest village spreads out on the slopes of a hillside planted with numerous palm trees, next to imposing cliffs. This "end of the world" has few tourist resources, however a luxury hotel was built there a few years ago and new rural houses are available for rent. There are also two small fresh fish restaurants and a supermarket. The road to Alajero is tortuous like all the roads on the island, but the descent to the sea is spectacular, with breathtaking scenery of cliffs, palm valleys and the ocean. To arrive in fine to a black sand beach, very fine.
