The hillside village of Bussy-le-Grand is close to the Château de Bussy-Rabutin, which is well worth a visit. It is also home to a fine Romanesque church dating from the second quarter of the 12th century, which has undergone several successive alterations. It is one of the most important Romanesque churches in the Auxois region. For art lovers, a stop at the Gorsline museum is also well worth the effort. This former barn houses works by American painter and illustrator Douglas Gorsline (1913-1985), who lived in Bussy-le-Grand from 1964 until his death. For a meal or overnight stay, the village has a restaurant and a gîte.
