On the coast, the old road to Scarborough, known as the Old Milford Road, runs along the Atlantic, passing through the small village of Lambeau and Little Rockly Bay, a beach less Caribbean than on the other side, but still pleasant. More and more guest houses are opening their doors here, as well as at Patience Hill, on the heights of Lambeau on the other side of the highway. This bay is home to the Magdalena Grand resort, a former Hilton acquired by the Tobago government in 2008. Numerous sea turtles frequent the bay, coming to lay their eggs on its long white sandy beach lined with coconut palms. It's as fascinating a sight as ever.
