Sleepy in the Caribbean torpor, the small village of Plymouth doesn't look like much, but it hides its history well. With the main road turning towards the center of the island just before Plymouth, it's a village that many visitors don't discover, unless they need fuel, as one of the few gas stations on the coast is hidden away. Part of what was once a sugar plantation is now open to the public. The coast is very indented and difficult to access here, but if you push a little northwards, you'll discover the beautiful beach of Arno's Vale Bay, where local families come to spend Sundays.
