MYSTERIOUS TOMB

Located a stone's throw from the sea, a tombstone marks the double grave of a 23-year-old woman, Betty Stiven, and her stillborn child, both of whom died in 1783. Who are these dead, and why are they buried there? The epitaph on the headstone does nothing to enlighten the passerby. "She was a mother without knowing it, and a wife without her husband knowing it, except for the little pleasures she offered him", it is written. Beautiful sentence, but oh so mysterious! It is up to you to find the meaning of this post-mortem enigma.
