An essential stopping-off point on the way from Scarborough to Speyside, the small town of Roxborough, with a population of just over 2,000, lies at the crossroads of the coastal road and the forest road that gives access to the leeward coast on the other side of the island. It's not very interesting, however, apart from a cash dispenser, a petrol station and a few stores. You can stop here for lunch before taking the forest road, on which there is no stopping place. There are very few tourist accommodation options here, but Speyside and Charlotteville are not far away.
