Flaxweiler is a small municipality located 10 km southwest of Grevenmacher, next to an access to the A1 motorway linking Trier (Germany) to Luxembourg City. From the point of view of its topographical situation, it is marked by three catchment areas, widely open to the Moselle valley. The town is situated at the foot of one of the oldest hills in the country, named Widdebierg. For a meal, head for the restaurant Le Menhir, located at 20 rue Principale.
