This concession, of approximately 400 km², is the southern extension of the Panhandle along the Okavango River. It is a region of permanent deep water, crossed by papyrus-lined canals opening into lagoons. On this concession, straddling the delta and the Panhandle, prices are much lower than in other more exclusive concessions. The main activity here is birdwatching by mokoro or motorboat, which reaches its peak between November and March. You can also meet some mammals including hyenas, baboons and the fearful sitatunga which has adapted particularly well to this aquatic environment.
