Travel Guide Rougemont

One of Montérégie's hills, Mont Rougemont, is here, but above all, apple trees as far as the eye can see. The municipality didn't become Quebec's apple capital for nothing! In fact, it was here in 1918 that the Lassonde company was founded, renowned for its famous Rougemont apple juice. It's no surprise that the region is a hot spot in autumn for pick-your-own apples from one of its many orchards. A number of cider makers have also made the region their home, including Cidrerie Michel Jodoin and Domaine de Lavoie.
