You will always find something to do in Saint-Donat, summer and winter, with countless possibilities for activities for all ages. This former forest village is another gateway to Mont-Tremblant National Park (Pimbina sector, four-season activities, lodging and equipment rental on site). In addition to the national park, there are a multitude of outdoor facilities: the Montagne Noire trail (hiking, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing), the national trail for hiking, water activities on lakes Ouareau and Archambault, the La Donatienne trail for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing, the Parc des Pionniers for ice skating, the Inter-Vals trail for mountain biking and ice skating, Mont Garceau and La Réserve ski resorts, ice climbing at Lac Sylvère, road biking on the circuits surrounding the two lakes and Le Nordet Road (superb circuit linking Saint-Donat to Lac-Supérieur), mountain biking on old forest trails, swimming at Lac Archambault (two "A" rated beaches, the one at Parc des Pionniers is supervised every day from 10 am to 6 pm). In winter, the many snowmobile trails enjoy exceptional snow conditions (the view from the top of the Montagne Noire is incredible!). In the summer, also take advantage of the free outdoor shows offered at Pioneer Park on Thursdays at 7 p.m. and on Place de l'Église on Saturdays at 8:30 p.m.
