Located almost at the tip of the ría de Villaviciosa, Tazones is a small fishing port, once dedicated to whaling, whose trade was then flourishing. Its steep alleys reveal white houses with turquoise balconies that exude a maritime freshness. Although sparsely populated, the city still has two neighbourhoods: San Miguel and San Roque, and it is in the latter that you will find the Casa de las Conchas, whose façade is entirely covered with shells of different shapes, sizes and colours. Surrounded by a stone wall and a garden, the Lighthouse of Tazones is located at the tip of el Olivo.
