This region in the north-east of Saanenland, between the Chaînes and Stockhorn chains, stretches along the Wimmis Valley, one of the longest but most fertile of the Bernese Oberland. It is therefore an agricultural region, a classic rural landscape. The main characteristic of the region, its cows, of good spotted cows, very different from those that you cross elsewhere in Switzerland.
