Coming from Siguiri on the road to Doko, you will reach a small village whose dried earth mosque, unique of its kind in Guinea, reminds the Sudanese style of the nearby Malian mosques. The mosque is built in banco (a mixture of clay, chopped straw and water), and its minaret is spiked with numerous wooden stakes that ensure the stability of the construction. In the village, you should ask for the guardian, who will be happy to open the doors of the sanctuary. Inside, the ceiling is made of earthen arches and the floor is strewn with mats, all giving off an atmosphere of prayer
