A charming rural village, Cametours has a small pond with a washing house around which the life of the village was once organised. In the last century, 180 weavers, tisseuses and fileuses lived and worked there. The last one disappeared in 1939 and today there are few traces of this flourishing industry. One can still guess, hidden under the wild grasses, the trails they lent in the last century when they were going to deliver the flax canvases to the port of Régneville.
