A pretty village with an ancient heritage, and close to Bruckneudorf, where the remains of an ancient Roman villa were unearthed. A mosaic, now on display in the Eisenstadt Museum, was discovered here. The small town of Bruck is particularly pleasant, with a pedestrian zone in the old town and a very pretty and romantic castle surrounded by a large green park. The building, in a distinctly British style, more Tudor than Westminster, is superb and perfectly preserved. The town also boasts a wide range of sports facilities, including a very large swimming pool with four pools. A popular holiday destination.
