It is the big resort in the east of the national park. Skiing, hiking to the highest peaks (although quite modest), accommodation... This is a serious competitor for Špindleruv Mlýn. However, the ski area is less interesting. Hikers, however, will find many possibilities for excursions here. As in the other resorts, the small village feel has been replaced by large hotel complexes, and you will have no trouble finding accommodation when you arrive.Access by bus from Trutnov (30 min). From and to Vrchlabí via Trutnov or Svoboda. Bus also to Prague (3h30) and Hradec Králové (2 hours).
