A lovely colourful town with 25 000 inhabitants of impressive kindness where it is nice to ask a few days, especially since the surrounding area is full of points of interest (Paria national parks, beaches, thermal waters, buffalo ranching, etc.). Rio Caribe can therefore serve as a centre for organising one day trips. The town was founded in 1715 by the conquistador Diego Brito of Narrabe. Côté Street is a colonial architecture that you will discover on the sea side, a typical small port of the Caribbean. A little rivalité rivalry against the inhabitants of Carupano, who, respectively, calls the "Carupatos" and "Riocarilocos"! The former square of the Place du Place Sucre dates back to 1920, made by a European artist. It was replaced five years ago under the order of the new mayor, by another, admittedly beautiful but second class. By hanging their eyes under certain gutters, fleur de lys is drawing, we now know that the French and Corsican influences have also marked the city.
