Moscufo, about 20 kilometers southwest of Pescara, is surrounded by hills covered with olive trees and is part of the "golden triangle of olive oil", together with Pianella and Loreto Aprutino. In addition to its agricultural interest, the town has a charming center and two beautiful churches: San Cristoforo, which is located on the hills in front of the Palazzo Comunale, and the remarkable ancient Benedictine abbey, Santa Maria del Lago, from the 12th century. Between Chieti and Pescara, Moscufo is worth a few hours, even if only for a pleasant stroll among the olive trees!
