Inside the land, 9 km southwest of Mangalia. This village is known for the cave of Movile (or Grotte cave), discovered in 1986 by a Romanian speleologist.This cave would have been inhabited in prehistoric times, before the Romans exploit the rock. But its main interest lies in the discovery of 32 previously unknown animal and plant species.In total darkness, they have been perpetuated for more than 5 million years. They were studied in a laboratory in Mangalia, which can be visited upon request.
