Located 30 km south of Constanţa, this resort was built near the fishing villages of Costineşti and Schitu, founded in the 19th century by German settlers. Until 1989, it was reserved exclusively for young people. Costineşti is still renowned for its festive atmosphere and lower prices. Numerous cultural events are held here throughout the summer. Like its neighbors, Costineşti boasts a large spa. Its beach, bordered by a small lake, stretches for 5 km.
